Chris Ownbey: A Lifetime in Fitness
I have developed programs for top entertainers, touring comedians, and executives nationwide from Dallas to Tennesse. I am committed to listening and understanding my clients. I work to meet their needs. I have been in the personal training industry since 1987... but for as long as I can remember, I have been active working out, eating right. In my early years in high school I competed to win the State in Powerlifting title, I won state in football for Plano my senior year. I then went on to bodybuilding where I competed and placed in the Teenage Nationals, Mr. Metroplex and Mr. Texas competitions. I did my brief time as a member of the US Marine Corp where again I found myself developing exercise programs for my squad. Later, I went to the Univeristy of North Texas where I majored in Nursing and Nutrition. In my early and late twenties competed in IFC Fighting, which became the current popular UFC. My personal training certifications include A.C.E and NASM , I am CPR certified, hold valid liabililty insurance through NHCA, I am currently the Golf condtioning specialist at the Golden Bear Golf Center a Jack Nickelius facility located in Carrollton Texas. Yes I play golf too. And travel to clients homes and personal studios. I have a beautiful wife Sandra and a two boys Roberto 15 and Micahel 13 years old. I have dedicated my life to helping people look, feel better inside and out and understand and live a healthy lifestyle.
