Chris Ownbey’s Golf Fitness would like to congratulate client Todd Spence on winning the Brookhaven Senior Club championship. This victory validates Todd’s work on and off the course. There is more to come for this tremendous talent.
Todd and I first meet 2 years ago, after a physical injury halted his play.
The first step was to do a complete physical and mechanical assessment, it was determined that a movement pattern in his golf swing was the main cause of the pain in Todd’s right hip.
I’ve personally seen hundreds of golfers with pain in the hips, shoulders, lower back due to a compensation in their golf swing, and Todd was a classic case.
Determine the improper pattern
Align body back into balance
Release the muscle causing the pain
Correct movement pattern
and get back on the course
I have personally seen men get out of pain, improve their core strength AND increase their flexibility into their 80’s!
